About PIXL

From architecture to art.

Architectural lighting that runs longer, fails less, and installs faster.

PIXL Lighting was founded by engineers with direct experience in the lighting industry. We understand what it takes to get a product built, and we know what designers, specifiers, integrators, and installers are dealing with on real jobs.

The frustration that led to PIXL was straightforward: large-scale architectural installations had too many controllers, too many failure points, and cable-run limitations that forced compromises in system design. So we built our products to fix that — longer runs, fewer nodes, and fault-tolerant architecture that keeps an installation running even when something fails.

That philosophy runs through everything we make, from a single linear cove fixture to VidLine™ — our media-facade platform powered by the PIXL Core™ protocol.

The promise

Longer runs.
Fewer controls.
Less downtime.

Engineered, not assembled

We started on the install side. Every product decision is made by people who have specified, wired, and commissioned real projects — and been paged when they failed.

Reliability as a feature

Fault-tolerant architecture keeps an installation running even when a fixture fails. We design for the night it breaks, not just the day it ships.

Fewer parts, fewer problems

Longer runs and fewer control nodes mean less cabling, fewer enclosures, and fewer points of failure across the whole system.

Built to be flexible

Need to customise a feature for a specific facade or fixture? That's a conversation we want to have, not one we avoid.
